It was….just wow!! Gosh I both didn’t yet appreciated the choices they made, I mean this is the kind of choices I WISHED Last Jedi would be but sadly wasn’t, I think they just didn’t QUITE know what to do after, but here Infinity War I think had a plan which I cannot wait for!!

It’s been several days, and I still don’t know what to think! This movie was impressive on so many levels. I don’t know how permanent our heroes’ deaths are, but short of the ones at the very end of the film, they felt pretty final to me. (I may actually feel a little cheated if characters come back, but I most certainly won’t fight it.) I did feel that Captain and Widow got less screentime than I’d wanted, but the movie didn’t suffer in any way because of it. I thought the overall character distribution was very well handled, which is saying something considering the enormous cast in this movie. The overall darker tone worked for the plot, but thank God for the comedy bits to hold all the gloom and doom together (the Guardians, Thor, and Tony were my favorites for comedy). Thanos is an excellently penned villain, and as much as I hate him, I can catch a glimpse of his warped mind and understand why he thinks the way he does.

In reply to Kelly J.. Lol it shows how well Thanos is written and acted for someone to think he isn’t an evil person. He murdered half the people in Universe. I say thats pretty evil right there. Even if his intentions were well meaning from his point of view.

Infinity War was as good as the first Avengers but not as good as Age of Ultron. This installment has a rare balance of intense action and good on timing one liners! The conclusion was one of the most WTF cliffhangers that I’ve seen in a while. I was hoping all the Avengers both new and veteran would show up. Kudos to the use of IMAX cameras throughout. 4/5 stars

Infinity War was more emotional than I’d expected, especially for Thanos’ story. Like you said, he’s a complex foe who isn’t exactly an evil person but is willing to do what it takes to achieve what he sees as the greater good. Kudos to the Russo brothers for taking on such an enormous film.
