I think this was an interesting and cool review. but my only problem was that you guys went into too many specific stuff. for example "they didnt have a firetruck in that scene" criticizing the film for not being realistic. but if you see the fist goofy movie there are sooooo many things that dont make sense. why would a dad and son be singing on a car in the water. its not realisitc to get onstage with a celebrity, security would kick you out. thats the only thing that bothered me a bit. like the first one wasnt realistic and this one was not aswell. It was interesting to hear your opinion :)

I enjoined this movie as well I thought it was a well made sequel. I have it on VHS. The only thing I did not like is that there was not even a mention of Roxanne.

I was super into this movie when I was young, so I did not know about the rest of Pete's family from Goof Troop for a long time. Although I could think of some plausible reasons why Peggy and Pistol were not in the movies. In the 1st one they could have just been taking their own vacation, since it seems like they could afford it, and in this movie Peg and Pete probably got divorced while Pistol was on another vacation with her teenage friends.

I watched this movie just once. It was on Disney Channel years ago and I never felt the need to watch it again. Honestly, I remember wanting to change the channel many times while watching it. I had seen the first Goofy Movie and thought it was ok, but it was one of the very few we didn't owned on VHS, so I only saw it a couple times. But the sequel was just so bad... I haven't seen either of these movies in years because I couldn't remember which one it was that I disliked so much. I nearly didn't listen to the podcast because of my feelings toward this 'film'. But I really love your podcast so I listened anyway and was so glad I did! I remember so many of my peers enjoying this and never understood why. Glad to see I am not the only one who would prefer not to watch this again.

I think I’ve seen this movie twice. The first time I was in 4th or 5th grade at some special event at school where several classes met in the library to watch this. Unfortunately something was wrong with the VCR and/or TV so we had to watch it in black and white.
The second time was when I was like 12 or 13 and it just came on TV and I had nothing better to do. My aunt asked me what I was watching and when I responded with “An Extremely Goofy Movie” she burst out laughing. She didn’t realize it was the title.
Now with those stories being told I don’t remember much about the movie other than Goofy joining Max at college, the beatnik scene, and the basic idea of Max participating in the X-games.
