As bad as this movie is, it’s hard to hate the film. It doesn’t try, I can’t hate a film that doesn’t try. What I do hate is the fact of it’s existence. It’s this kind of attitude towards animation that a movie like this gets green-lit. Further why no animated film has won best picture Oscar yet.

Animation Addict confession: I still hum the words from “Mary the Mole” around the house. I wonder what it was like to work on “The Emoji Movie”; that it pays the bills even if you suspected this was going to be a bad film?

I don’t despise The Emoji Movie nearly as much as everyone else, only what it represents.

This movie deserved all the awards it got at the Razzies. I
wonder how Sony feels about this or if they even care?

It’s kinda sad though that this still made a decent amount
of money, more money than it ever should have made.
