In reply to Harith Sami. True. Plus Neel Sethi will be slightly older when Jungle Book 2 starts filming. I think the sequel might take some inspiration from maybe the anime as well.

In reply to Haley Gilbertson. I was also intrigued by the source material that Disney used in their version of the Jungle Book and know there's a lot more story they didn't use. So I'm anticipating watching Mowgli's journey unfold and hopes that it it includes his encounter with people.

IF they age up Mowgli it will feel like Tarzan with wolves. Still excited though, maybe the main conflict will be about him being torn about staying in the jungle or living in the human village, maybe the British acquisition invading India? (thats what happens in the original book after Sher Khan is defeated.

I can’t wait for the Warner Bros version of Jungle Book, wasn’t too enthusiastic about this remake though they still did a lot of great additions to the source material
So still kinda intrigued in this sequel
