In reply to Marielle. Except it was lego. And it was batman. Very safe and they have yet to announce others. At least here they are trying to do something differently stylistically with the animation and they're also not using peter parker. There's an attempt to do something different animation-wise and pay homage to the comic storytelling style and als omaybe do something more serious. I would love to see big theatrical releases of 3d animated movies for dc's other superheros as their live action films seem very hit or miss (mostly miss). Maybe do something that is a bit more serious than lego batman too. It's a shame because they have such a wealth of properties and their animation crew has done some amazing stories in their DTV's or the DCAU

animation I’m seeing here, this could actually be
a great Sony Animation film.

In reply to Manuel Orozco. I didn't hate Emoji and The Star (Mary and Joseph were totally cute and the humans in Emoji looked good too), but they didn't take any risk with the animation. I didn't think Sony had it in them to innovate like this.
