I was sold when I heard the Chicken Run and Over The Hedge people were on it, those two were some of DreamWorks’ best.

I get that vibe a little. It certainly reminded me of
the yeti (design-wise) from Monster’s Inc.

Ok, I really like the clever twist they put onto this
story. I’m not a big fan of Warner Animation, but
this can turn out to be both interesting and funny.

This looks adorable! I love mountains and yetis, so if DreamWorks also makes a yeti movie in 2019, I’ll go see them both. Bring on all the yetis!

You know, I’m liking that when Warner Animation Group isn’t doing LEGO films and are doing something original they aim for something more cartoony and in the vein of their classic shorts. The animation as well as the designs of the Yetis have a Hotel Transylvania vibe to them but a bit more smoother. It wasn’t at all what I was expecting yet it looks so delightfully weird. While the trailer wasn’t laugh out loud funny, I did find it pretty humorous and chuckle worthy when the main Yeti is telling how “frightening” the human was and what the reaction was from the other Yetis. I feel this film will be a lot like Storks in terms of tone and style where it is essentially a feature length Looney Tune that embraces the cartoon side of animation, which was one of the things that made Storks one of my favorite animated films of last year. And, with Channing Tatum stating that “There’s a certain style and tone in Smallfoot that is reminiscent of old-school Looney Tunes”, I do genuinely look forward to it.
