Right on! The original Oz books are wonderful, and I’d love to see them properly adapted to film or at least something that’s true to the spirit of the books.

It has my interest, but it really could be either amazing or horrible. I guess I’ll have to wait for a trailer to decide if this is going to be worth my time or not. It all depends on execution to make anything good, but since this is going to be a direct-to-video movie I don’t have high hopes.

I just got super into Wizard of Oz recently having rewatched the original classic movie and I don’t mind reimaginings like this, but being skeptic is always good to do I agree with you.
