I think this movie is underrated; it’s good fun. I especially like Hugh Laurie as Dr Cockroach.

In reply to Sebastian. One of my least favorite aspects of the film was actually Gallaxhar - DWA could have done so much better for a villain. And I would have loved a sequel! I mean, just about everything else gets one these days. There was apparently a short-lived TV show, but just from seeing screencaps alone, the animation and character models look TERRIBLE. Unwatchable.

Eh, it was good but some of the animation of the characters, especially the human characters, were some of the ugliest animation I have ever seen.

Man I was just OBSESSED with this movie when it was coming out! Even wanted to be Susan for halloween so badly! (Never happened….)
I thought as a kid it was pretty serviceable fun and pretty creative, but looking back and remember watching it on cable, yeah it kinda falls flat but still that creativity was still there! Personally think its alright for sure 🙂

Seven years ago, I was on a bus load to a religious ed. confirmation retreat. For entertainment, we were treated to a double feature of MVA and Happy Feet. I only sat through almost the whole movie waiting to be over. Except I went to the bathroom during a battle scene. The casting is interesting but I couldn’t care less for the characters or the satiric tone. The bright visuals weren’t enough either to keep my attention.

I a pleasant little film. I like most of the cast and I love the chase scenes in the film. Especially the San Fransisco bit that was really well done. Galaxhar is a ok villain but he had his moments. The visuals are nice and vibrant take example with B.O.B that blue tint can’t be unseen. I actually really wanted to see a sequel to this movie. I think Dreamworks missed an opportunity not to make one.
