I was hoping against hope they might take inspiration/cues from the lovely bbc potter animations back in the early 90’s, but no such luck!
Just doesn’t seem to capture the spirit of Potter at all.

If they wanted to make a movie like this, they should have used original characters – don’t bring Beatrix Potter into it.

Not a party is right! That troupe is becoming really old and the only way it could work is if the movie is based on an original concept which Peter Rabbit is not.

I guess The Jungle Book has spoiled me with animal designs. Peter Rabbit is not a party dude! What the heck? But I agree with you that Animal Logic seems to be the one trying here. If it wasn’t for their visuals it wouldn’t look like Peter Rabbit at all
