1) The animation is breathtaking considering it is actually a short,
2) I’m so excited that it will be released in theatres because it will 100% look more stunning in big screens than small TV’s,
3) I’m also excited that it will be released in 3D because “Frozen Fever” wasn’t and that was disapointing,
4) It’s also interesting to see different cultures and religions depicted here,
5) The fact that this is Christmas-themed and “Coco” is dedicated to the Day of the Dead is trully magical!

THIS, I’m going to the theatre to see an ORIGINAL PIXAR FEATURE. NOT a motherfucking Frozen advertisement. It’s obvious Pixar and Disney have no trust in Coco to hold on it’s fucking own. Maybe Coco is short? I don’t know. But it pissed me off they keep shoving Frozen as a franchise down our throats. I actually thought the first one was decent, but now I hate it. It’s all done just to appease shareholders. It’s why a second one is being made, and all these shorts, and that Disney ride. Same with Cars, but at least with Cars they don’t shove it down my throat. It also only squanders a release date for another original film that could have happened. One last thing, if they want to shit out sequels, where is the love for Incredibles and Ralph? They should be hyping those up as there is potential in those worlds. It’s stupid. But hey, at the end of the day, money talks.

In reply to Ryan Campbell. On the bright side, they were able to take it slow for a while. I'm not necessarily excited for this new short even though I did like the original movie. But it's good to know Anna and Elsa are taking their reconnecting process one step at a time with Elsa's first holiday season as Queen.

Ok, so the short is actually 21 minutes long. When I saw this trailer premiere before Cars 3, I was wondering why in the world we were getting at 2 minute trailer for a 5 minute short. To me, it was kind of laughable. It all makes sense now. Whether I agree with Disney slapping a 21 minute Frozen short before Pixar’s new movie is besides the point. I’m sure we all have our opinions on that. Those who really want to watch it will be there ready and waiting. Those of us who really don’t care could just show up 21 minutes late and skip the short altogether.
One this is abundantly clear, though. Disney is 100% hellbent on keeping Frozen front and center in the collective consciousness of the general public. They’re hoping to keep that ‘Frozen Fever’ burning hot until the release of Frozen 2, which will hopefully, for their sake, ignite the fire all over again. They’re also trying to justify the quick and shortly planned install of ‘Frozen Ever After’ at Epcot. If Frozen gets too far out of the mind of the general public, they’ve gotta slap us with another ‘Frozen’ product to bring our focus back. I don’t necessarily agree with this tactic. Why does Disney feel that everything is riding on their ‘Frozen’ brand? Who knows. But instead of forcing ‘Frozen Fever,’ I kind of wish they’d just step back and let it happen again, naturally, if it’s going to happen again at all.

In reply to Roy K.. 70 minutes? That's really short for a major animated film in the 2010s. I mean on one hand if that's the length the creators feel is the most appropriate to tell the story, that's a positive. On the other hand it kind of also gives me the feeling this was not a very ambitious project, maybe even had a little production trouble. Also may I ask where that number comes from?

In reply to Dante Panora. Coco runs for around 70 minutes, so it's shorter than a normal film. The short makes up for that I guess.

And 75 minutes that's odd except the original Toy Story did run one hour 20 minutes which seemed experimental obviously. And the last time Disney did do a 20 minute featurette prior to the main feature was Prince and the Pauper before Rescuers Down Under nearly 30 years ago.
