Well I ended up watching Dory on demand six months ago. And I agree. Dory was also rather touching. I was just saying I had not seen a Pixar film in theatres since Cars 2 six years ago. I mostly wait until DVD.

That’s cool! I hope to be seeing Cars 3 this Sunday.

Although I don’t love the Piper short as much as others, I do highly recommend Finding Dory. I found it to be as clever as it was entertaining. Not as awesome as Finding Nemo though. 😉

I agree that it was quite adorable.

I probably picked a good reason to avoid Finding Dory when it was in theatres last year. But I’m not skipping Cars 3 because I already got my Fandango tickets for 48 hours from now.

I’ll grant you, the message wasn’t extraordinary. But it was infectiously inviting, and was the most adorable short film I’ve ever seen by any studio.

Piper was very cute, but nothing new in my opinion. Also didn’t help that it uses the same conclusive moral that Pixar’s last film did (The Good Dinosaur was all about conquering the fears of nature too).

Not even Piper? I loved Piper!

By the way, I actually watched 64 out of the 79 episodes of Foster’s in their entirely.

I’m actually surprised

In case you want to know why I love Pixar so much, they always turn the what at first from the teaser seems to be the craziest ideas into something beautiful and a whole lot more. And it takes striking film imagery, sophisticated storytelling and family friendly appeal to make that happen.
