Gaston was the best character in the original but Luke Evans is not remotely imposing and was a terrible choice. Definition of beta male. Given how currently misguided Disney is, I’m surprised this is even a joke.

You know some pranks can be hilarious… others can be made into genuinely good ideas. I could see Gaston doing great feats, to gain his acclaim, and sizable biceps. All the while Lafou pines over him, while trying to navigate their turbulent friendship to worlds of untold success… excuse me, I have a screenplay to write.
