Saw it from borrowing my friend’s copy since she and I are huge Daisy Ridley fans and man I kinda liked Ridley’s VAing in this! The only thing I found weird with this movie was a little bit of how close to home it felt for me personally being a girl and what they talked about (again just a personal thing for me alone), but I don’t hate it by any means!! Loved the animation style as well and contrasting past to present time! I’m glad I saw it 🙂

From your review it sounds really good and very unique. I wish studios in the US would make more adult focused animation. Adult like, what the movie appears to be, not adult like Sausage Fest.

Also, on a completely unrelated note, for some reason this review really made me want fresh pineapple, so I went out and bought one this afternoon. :p

However, the adult stuff is less compelling to me than the flashbacks, which are adorable. I also love the pineapple scene.
