I’m right there with you. I loved this movie so much. It’s the kind of movie I wish Disney was making more of. Small, intimate and with real heart. I thought Elliot and Pete’s relationship was beautiful and the whole thing reminded me of Old Yeller. A new Disney classic

Although it was well rendered I still love the original Pete’s dragon much more. Elliot looks like a dragon (not a green saber tooth tiger. He seriously looks like he could be Tefiti’s pet) At least in the old even with all the nonsensical plots and campy-ness the old is a fun its so bad it’s good watch (especially Dr. Terminus and Hoagie.)
Idk I was indifferent to it, saving my money anyhow for Beauty and the beast. ?⚘⚘
