Well actually the Oswald short is actually the first ever Oswald short so that explains why it might be lackluster, but it is still important and wouldn’t call it filler.

In reply to Jackson Staninger. Agreed. I didn't have a copy of this on Blu-ray or DVD, so that reason alone makes this a "Buy". If I already owned it, I would have skipped it.

Sad to hear that J.B. Kaufman was underutilized for bonus features. I went to a D23 talk he did at Disney about Pinocchio for the film’s 75th anniversary and he (unsurprisingly) really knows his stuff. I haven’t read his book yet, but just hearing him talk about the film’s production really opened my eyes to what a masterpiece Pinocchio is!

The Music video was something that looked like a glorified version of those awful Disney Mania singles. But Pinocchio is my favorite Disney movie, so this is totally worth it.

I agree that the When You Wish music video and “behind the scenes” were disappointing. The other new features were nice but pretty short. I’ll be enjoying the classic features since I’ve only had Pinocchio on VHS before this.
