Piper was a beautiful film with top-notch animation. However, I found the story to be a bit
too simple. I had more interest in Inner Workings, although the visual style here is better.

This one unexpectedly pulled at my heartstrings. Piper is animated so cute and fluffy that you instantly empathize with her. Her petrified look after the waves crash down on her says it all! It’s definitely a strong message about accepting life’s challenges and the joys in overcoming our fears whether we are toddlers, children, or adults.
