Ezra and Sabine are both tested and challenged, tempted to give into their frustrations and fears as they deal with internal conflicts. Thanks to Kanan’s Jedi teachings and Hera’s guidance, both teens are overcoming their obstacles. People have rightly addressed the similarities between Ezra and Anakin’s temptations to the dark side. Not only does Ezra have surrogate family supporting him but he *knows* that he is loved and cared for. Watching him show sympathy for Click-Clack or listening to Sabine’s words shows he is learning to be empathetic to others and advancing in his role as a Jedi.
