I’m excited to see this one because I love the original movie. Kind of bummed about the CG character designs though. One of my favorite parts of the original movie is the appeal and charm of the animated character designs, which doesn’t seem to be as achievable in live action. However, I cannot wait to hear the musical numbers!

In reply to Bob Smith. Considering that the original was nominated for Best Picture, perhaps that's why they appear to have made few changes to the story. I am not too excited for this.

I don’t know whether the remake appearing (too) similar to the original one is a good thing or not. All the more reason for me to see how the actual movie turns out.

Honestly, my overriding impression of this trailer is that Luke Evans couldn’t be more perfect as Gaston. He looks like he’s having so much fun!

This trailer was BEAUTIFUL!! I just was freaking out when I saw it the first time, the magic, music, and beauty of it all was so full of nostalgia and excitement!! I am still going to be hyped for the experience and super curious how it’ll all be! (note I still love the original always and it will be superior, but it was still a magical trailer for me!)

I admit it; the trailer looks good. Despite that, I don’t think the movie is going to be nearly as good as the animated version. It seems like Gaston will steal the show.

I still just can’t get myself to be excited for this one. The Jungle Book, Cinderella, and Maleficent all at least tried to do new things to the stories where as this one still just looks like a carbon copy. I know that are changing some things (like some new songs), but I wish they would have shown some of that off. But I just don’t see myself ever enjoying this one as much as the original

I am definitely concerned about the music. The Emma Watson clip we had was awful and they only have the end credits song in this trailer…
