I had high expectations for this movie and it didn’t live up to it. The past two movie, Frozen and Zootpia, I had watched it multiple of times but not this one. The music was the redeeming factor for this movie. It is a okay movie but the problem was for me, I think, it had too much fantasy elements and silliness that it didn’t quite give that emotional and engaging experience I usually get from Disney.

Re watched it and it only gets better. Also a bit on the opening sequence when Moana was a baby (adorable). It was a moment of incredible wish fulfillment when she helped the turtle to the beach. How often do we watch nature documentaries, wanting to help the animals in need?
