Wow, that is pretty weird and creepy. But this is definitely not an unusual trope in anime/manga. *spoilers alert* I’ve seen it in Karekano.

If you like Usagi Drop then I would suggest Barakamon. I consider it my own personal version of slice-of-life “therapy”. Usagi Drop is good, but the ending felt pretty meh for me. Most of these shows end this way…ya know…life goes on and such, but I feel like Barakamon handles that part better. I hope we see more anime reviews!

I agree that the ending is pretty weird. However, that ending was in the manga, and the anime show doesn’t foreshadow or hint at that, in my opinion. If that was the case, then I’m glad the show stopped after one season. Aside from weird ending in the manga, I think the anime was pretty cute.

I know thats a huge spolier but the entire second half of the series is build up to those moments. Is that creepy or is it just me?
