I haven’t yet seen this movie, but if it really is that good, then it might get nominated for an Oscar. And I have to agree with you it has been a big year for animation

Saw the film yesterday at night, I do liked it a lot. It’s simple art style with no lines makes it look unique. Story-wise, it’s nothing new. I’ve seen before the strong-female story, but that didn’t stopped the film to be engaging, mature, and often emotional.
