The rock trolls were cute but their role should have been expanded a bit more.

Continuity errors are animation errors. How are you making the distinction between these errors? And if you mean Elsa’s braid phasing through her shoulder, that was intentional. Wreck-It Ralph had deliberate ‘cheats’ too. The snow physics are well-researched and rendered using Disney’s best animation software at the time, which while not as powerful as the Hyperion renderer employed in the next animated movies, still made the snow look as realistic as possible.

The rock trolls are as insignificant as the polar bears is the point being made. Both sets of characters were written with a purpose and served their purposes, however said purposes are trivial when compared with what other characters did in both movies.

The Polar Bears in Zootopia were annoying? Uh, I barely noticed them. The rock trolls and their annoying song were my least favorite part in the movie and they were unavoidable.

I mean actual animation errors. Those are continuity errors. Frozen had Elsa’s arm phase through herself and the snow physics didn’t look right.

– When Ralph smashes the giant cake, pink icing splatters the walls, the floor and the other video game characters. There are no pieces of the actual cake anywhere, only the icing.
– When Vanellope wins the race and appears in a pink dress, she glitches out of it and the dress is left on the ground. In the next shot, the dress is gone.
– After Ralph destroys the cake and it goes all over the place, we cut to a wide shot. In this shot, to Gene’s right, there is a small amount of cake on the floor. In the following shot, the amount of cake has doubled.
– In the scene where Ralph smashes the cake, Mary is standing behind Gene. She’s not holding anything during the smashing, but as Ralph begins to leave the party the camera shows Mary holding onto the cake figurines which would have been smashed previously.
– When Deanna begins to pull Felix onto the dance floor, she is wearing a shiny dress imprinted with leaves and flowers. When they take their places in the next shot, Deanna is suddenly in a plain pink dress, with no imprints. Then, although she remains on the dance floor for the entire shot, when Gene answers Felix in the very next shot, Deanna is suddenly with Gene by the door, and she’s back in the dress with the shiny imprints for the rest of the scene.
– It’s established that in the candy cane trees, the double striped branches ‘break’. When grabbed, they make a loud noise and flash for a moment, before just vanishing. When Ralph and Vanellope are racing to the Hero Metal at the top of a tree, Ralph hits several of these branches. Each time, the branch only lasts about a second or two after he touches it before vanishing. However, he then falls from the tree and lands on a branch that is double striped and hangs from it. While doing so, he proceeds to have a full on conversation with Vanellope, for a relatively long time. Yet the branch does not vanish till after she walks away, despite previous ones having only a second or two of time before vanishing.
– During the Hero’s Duty scene we see Calhoun from the player’s perspective. When Calhoun says “The kitten whispers and tickle fights stop now” the players ammo shows 3/15, showing a full clip is 15 shots. We then cut to Ralph running inside and then back to the player’s view and the ammo is now 5/15. The player can’t have reloaded the gun in that time as we saw the player when we cut to Ralph.
– When the cake goes all over the place, Deanna (behind Gene) looks around. She is facing towards Gene is this shot, but looking in a direction towards Ralph in the next shot.
– In the scene where King Candy enters the program he goes out the direction of Vanellope’s code box. In Sour Bill’s flashback however, King Candy’s rope is to the left while he’s pushing Vanellope’s code box to the right.

Show me the errors then.

The fact that Wreck-It Ralph had more errors isn’t an opinion, it is a fact. It is also a fact that more current rendering software were used in Frozen when compared to Wreck-It Ralph, hence the animation quality on Frozen is objectively better. This isn’t about any so-called “defense force”, this is simply stating the facts. Which looks stiff or cartoony is entirely subjective.

Wreck It Ralph had a lot less errors than Frozen. It even looked better the way it was presented. At least Wreck It Ralph was cartoony, Frozen was stiff and lame. I didn’t know the Frozen defense force was so strong to be completely honest.
