I’m actually looking forward to La La Land more than Moana and Sing combine. So many musicals this holiday season on the big screen and small screen, so little time.

True. I think Moana will be an instant Disney classic. It remains to be seen whether it’ll surpass Zootopia or not. Not a huge fan of Rotten Tomatoes, but Zootopia has a 98% with an average rating of 8.1/10. That sets the bar really high for Moana. By the way, La La Land is at 96% right now on RT.

I liked Aladdin, Hercules Great Mouse Detective and Treasure Planet. You never know what can happen.

Could be but the Musker / Clements team haven’t made an excellent movie since Aladdin.

I’m sure Moama will be as good as Zootopia or better.

The Moana trailer was beautiful! It’s some of the best computer animation I’ve ever seen. I don’t think it’ll surpass Zootopia critically, but looks great nonetheless.

I don’t see myself as snobby film critic, nor do I pretend to be one, so with all due respect, I think you misread me.

Sony chose to aim low with the previous films when they could have done what they are doing right now with this film. I don’t expect a masterpiece, but I do expect that I’m entertained whilst Peyo’s characters are done justice. The live-action films were neither entertaining nor did they do justice to Peyo’s work.

Lol well if you were looking for the next great animated classic. Then of course you would feel that way. The movie was aiming low it was presented and marketed that way. So i cant fault it for that. It didnt bore me and heck ive seen much worse.
