In reply to CarFan1999. That is interesting. I'm not sure what the difference is. My impression on Trolls is that it is for small children which isnt necessarily a bad thing

The early reviews are in for Trolls. On Rotten Tomatoes, it’s at 86% with an average score of 6.5/10. However on Metacritic, Trolls only has a 47/100.
I wonder what’s with the huge gap? Usually, the ratings are pretty uniform.

I still think the animation this film’s strength; gorgeous colourful visuals with textile/craft designs, I like it! But the celebrities and the pop songs and the unbelievably predictable story turn me off so bad. This definitely looks more like a kiddy/pre-teen movie, so I’ll skip it when it comes to cinemas. I’d rather watch Storks or Moana.

-First we get it, you got celebrities in this movie you don’t have to show them in every trailer.

-Second, thanks for spoiling the movie for me, couldn’t get more satisfied with such a trailer.

-Third,if you have a musical twist or a surprising idea in the movie you don’t have to show it in the trailer, the movie will get better reactions if they didn’t know about it in the start, why I’m I surprised by this, it’s the same 20th century fox marketing team who spoiler the mysterious dragon rider identity from HTTYD2

-Lastly, thanks for repeating what they said, narrator. I was so confused the first few times the stars of the movie said it, but when the narrator explains something it becomes legit, thanks for respecting my tiny brain.

..*No wonder Dreamworks animation want to be with Universal studios now..**illomination films are hits after another*..

I’m still not completely decided on my opinion of the movie, but the animation style is really awesome.

Oh please Dreamworks let the story be charming as the animation or just lucrative as Minions. (I will never understand people’s obsessions with those walking corn pops.)

I’m rather torn. On one hand I may want to see it because the story might be better than what they’re advertising and visual wise it looks gorgeous and colorful. On the other hand though I think what might actually kill the movie for me is the songs/ pop music. I’ve heard some of these songs on the radio nearly every day and it’s come to a point where I’m just sick of hearing them.

On a side note some of the character designs sort of remind me of the cartoon Chowder.
