Im surprised no one has ever thought of making an Indiana Jones animated tv series. The character and his world is made for animation.

“Firefly” was a creative combination of Western outlaws mixed with space ^^ And it was so good that I can definitely see 600+ pages of inspiration popping up.

I hope that this sleek stylized design we see in the promo poster carries over into the fan film. It reminds me of this new comic book version of the “Star Wars” trilogy that’s fun for all ages: https://www.amazon.com/Star-Wars-Original-Trilogy-Graphic/dp/1484737849

I’m in! I love well-done animation. A good animator is an actor who must fully understand both anatomy and how emotion plays across the face, and know how to transmit that visually.

To me it’s a shame that the element of homage is not acknowledged more. I have the highest respect for fan films and projects.

If you think of it, LOTR was in a way fanfic for the nearly-forgotten mythologies he loved; everything after the original Star Trek was AU fanfic; Indian Jones and Star Wars were themselves homages to action serials and b-movies.

Also, *ahem* I might have written about 600 pages of Firefly fanfic, so, well, yeah.
