No one stands out more to me Wacky Raceland that Dick Dastardly, Muttley and Penelope Pitstop. I really liked what they did with other characters but the whole problem was the race. Everything else I liked, the race just didn’t make a lot of sense.
Maybe the story would be better if they were just the mutant gang that were like a mercenary group or something.
I haven’t read Future Quest, but Scooby Apocalypse is brilliant and it was just what the franchise needed, a change for a chance. I love Shaggy, Daphne and Scooby’s new designs.
And I really want to see the Jetsons comic. It looks so cool.

Didnt say Fury Road was bad. I took offense to the obvious blatant ripoff of that excellent film. I also quite enjoyed the Wacky Races cartoon myself and was mortified by what i saw. Its similar to what they did with the new Superman films.

Putting aside how great Fury Road was, yeah I had hope for it, partially because Wacky Races is one of my favorite Hanna Barbera shows, mainly because I was curious where it could go with a darker spin, turns out it couldn’t go somewhere good.

For me, Future Quest is really good, Scooby and The Flintstones are odd, and while not awful, they also didn’t hook me in, while Wacky Raceland is just awful, which sucks because that was the one I had the most hope for.

Me personally, I do concur that Wacky Raceland is my least favorite, but there are some characters and ideas that would be better served elsewhere (hence Dastardly and Muttley).

Otherwise, I’m enjoying the rest of the line (to varying degrees). Scooby Apocalypse is weird but fun, Future Quest is absolutely brilliant, and The Flintstones is exactly what you would expect from Mark Russel: sharp, funny, and loaded with commentary.
