Over the summer we only see movies at our local drive-in. I've been wanting to see this since we saw the trailer at Walt Disney's museum in Hollywood Studios at the end of July. Was so glad that it was being shown this past weekend at our drive-in. (along with Finding Dory and Independence Day) on triple feature night last night. (9/4) Our family really enjoyed this film, I especially like how it ended.

I agree. There are definitely some laughs and tears. Just a movie with a huge heart. So glad you loved it too. The child actors really are outstanding

My friend and I were the only adults(other than parents) at the showing, which I thought was kinda funny. The movie was so adorably sweet and charming. At one point it had me in stitches and at another point with some tears. The child actors were fantastic! Its a simple but extremely well made movie.

I am too and surprised. It's an old, well worn story, critics see lots of movies and prefer things to be fresh. But these live action remakes seem to be consistently adored by critics somehow.
