I mean I like the dynamic of the two main mice and the villain was really fun, but this movie from when I saw it a while back was ok. Sorta like the sequel a little more with playing around more for this idea personally

I agree. I love how both Bernard & Bianca are given the same amount of character development throughout the movie. It’s refreshing to have two leads that save each other. That’s one thing I think Rescuers managed to execute better than Down Under.

You really wouldn’t like the real Medusa (her voice actor, Geraldine Page) in the much-more mean spirited “Beguiled” with Clint Eastwood and Elizabeth “Mrs. Brisby” Hartman.

She really is pure evil! I was surprised to read they considered Cruella for the role of villain, but they managed to come up with an even more insane and despicable one.

I think what makes this movie so great is their interaction throughout the movie plus the little girl (I think her name was Penny?). That scene when she talks to the old cat about her parents just melts my heart!

Yes, everytime the original “Rescuers” comes to mind, I will always think of waffles.
