Since, I have yet to see anyone else online say something positive about Ice Age: Collision Course. I guess it is up to me. I actually liked the film, I wish Diego And Shira had bigger roles, but for the story they were trying to tell it made since for them to be somewhat pushed aside. The way all the characters were acting made since to me given the premises of story. Itwas not the best of the Ice Age films, but I still thought it was quite good.

As for Bambi, Awesome movie and as always awesome podcast.

Disney is in the process of rebooting or remaking all of their classics. I wonder if they will ever do a remake of Bambi with live action and cgi like they did with The Jungle Book. It will be like Dinosaur.

For the record, I read the book when I was like... 9. And it didn't bother me XD. I remembered Gobo's death when Mason mentioned it.

I would pick Bambi over most current movies so well played. Ice Age 5 isn't very good. I admire you for not going for the clicks, which talking about the bad movies always seems to get for some reason.
Anyway, Bambi is a film that I've appreciated more as I've grown up. It's about a life. It's about growing up and becoming a man. There are a few things I don't like such as how the Mother is completely forgotten in the last act- might have been nice to have some kind of recollection or memory of her. Also the films portrayal of masculinity and fatherhood is sort of strange. It also started the Disney Instant-love hypnotism trope that I hate.
But it is also visually stunning, sweet, funny and lovely. I love the way they use music to create sound effects like rain. Just fantastic.

I absolutely do not begrudge you guys at all. Ice Age 5 was unbelievably bad in a way that's not even funny, just sad. There are three things that stop the movie from reaching Norm of the North/Foodfight levels. One, that one sequence with the dinosaurs is one of this year's technical wonders. Two, Scrat still managed to make me chuckle (not enough to save the movie, but still). Three, Neil DeGrasse Tyson's cameo provides what might be the only source of genuine comedy anywhere in the film.

Other than that, the film is just as bad as you think it is (almost worse, even). Luckily for the rest of you guys, there are a multitude of better options, both at the theater and at home.
