In reply to Cesar Infante. Fair point. I'm just used to the high bar for theatrical films. It's tiresome to see this getting a big distributor when some better films with better animation don't. Despicable Me was first film, even if it had a budget. So was Nut Job, it had a small budget and looked far more decent than this. This looks borderline lazy to me, like even the people working on it didn't like it enough to try and make it more than bare-bones. Also, Norm of the North is a poor example as it has by FAR the worst animation of any animated film ever in theaters so yeah not much of a comparison. :)

In reply to Dante Panora. I just think there is usually an R rated comedy in the summer that hits big. I think it will be this years Ted. It has no adult competition weekend of release and the response to the trailers has been positive.

Im hoping the film does well, as it may increase the chances of an animated action horror movie The Goon. But I’m just curious as to what about the film makes you think it is going to make alot of money?

In reply to Jeremiah Bok. I praised the animation because it isn't Pixar or DreamWorks. It's a small animation studio and instead of giving us Norm of the North, they put in as much detail as they probably could afford and I feel like they were successful. Thanks for commenting, diverse points of views are great.

Why on earth did you praise the animation? It’s all taste I guess but how is it ‘detailed”? It’s very basic if anything. Very minimal texture, bare sets, minimal rendering, etc. I guess I’m biased because I disliked the first trailer so much I shan’t watch this one but all the same.

I think they could have done a bit more shock value with the second trailer, all this seems to showcase so far or at least the most of is how many F bombs they drop
Though I’ll probably just see this on streaming and out of curiosity, I personally hope this ends up more than just ok just a little bit for some reason
