Oh yes, And I had no doubts that it would happen. However the fact that it happened so soon, makes me wonder if Bojack is one of Netflix's most viewed shows.

Considering the plot for the film may be about Emmet questioning his existence after discovering the truth about the LEGO universe in the first film, which is pretty depressing once you think about, hiring Waksberg is the perfect choice. He also has a good sense of humor used on Bojack that fits the style of The Lego Movie quite well.

And for those who haven't seen Bojack Horseman, you need to. It's funny, deep, mature, and is very emotional. It's something you rarely see in adult animation.

The Good Dinosaur had a lot of problems during its production process. The constant changing of hands on both the script and the director's chair was only one (very significant) contributing factor.

It might be a puzzling choice to give the script to someone who's only written for TV, but let's not forget that Lord and Miller also gave the director's chair for the film to someone who's also done a lot of TV work, but has never really directed a film before. In fact, Rob Schrab only has one film credit to his name as a screenwriter: he co-wrote the script and conceived the story for Sony Pictures' Monster House with Dan Harmon.

It's all very look and see, but from what I've examined with the upcoming LEGO films, there does seem to be a pattern with how Lord and Miller chooses their directors. They are all people who have never directed a single film, but they have loads of experience in writing, directing, and/or producing television (live-action and/or animated). Therefore, they all fit the criteria of a director that can not only maintain the general tone and feel established by Lord and Miller, but can also have a strong creative voice that distinguishes each film.

That's my take, anyhow.

Its a very common thing to have scripts re-written, touched up, or even thrown out and redone altogether. Its good that they are trying to get a story worthy of the next movie. Sucks we will have to wait, but I am sure there will be plenty of animation in between to support.

Ahhh, not good. Too many cooks in the soup has led to a lot of animation flops. The most recent example being The Good Dinosaur, though that had a much bigger overhaul I'd imagine. I don't know, I trust those geniuses more than some dude who writes adult tv who's never made a family film or any film. We'll see.

Man, sometimes I think Bojack does not gets as much recognition in the animation world as it should. Season three just dropped today, and although it's not my favorite one, there is still so much to talk about in it.
