Just my personal opinion here. I’ve never been a fan of Pokémon. The games were not fun to me (never enjoyed the combat system). The show was just a means to promote the game. Don’t even get me started of the card game!

This game coming out in America has been a destroyer of data, OS systems, and battery life. It’s even cost a life or two (a woman fell into the Grand Canyon playing the game, others have walked off of cliffs), and in all honesty, after giving the game a shot, I wholeheartedly cannot recommend this game. Mobile gaming in general. It’s not fun. It wrecks your phone or tablet, and it’s distracting. Find something guenuinely entertaining to do thats not on your cell phone.

I have played pretty much all of the generations of Pokemon games, but I haven’t gotten this game. I’m very surprised that it took off this fast, and that people who I never expected to play it are playing it. I might check it out, but my phone already has a short enough battery life as it is.

Also since if the Rotoscopers are looking at games now, you guys should check out a game that’s coming out later this year. Its called Cuphead and its done completely in a 1930’s cartoon style. All of the art for the game is hand drawn and looks gorgeous

I’m REALLY loving the game so far, wish they’d add more generations though, mainly because while I may have played since red and blue, my favorite Pokemon is Totodile

This game is far more of a phenomenon than anyone could have predicted. I downloaded it as soon as it was out, out of curiosity, but have not been able to do much with it, as this summer I am living out in the country, like 6 miles from the nearest town, and in this game, Pokemon only live in towns and cities for some reason. It seems like it’s the exact opposite of what it should be. :p

Since I don’t really feel like driving into town just to play, I don’t think I’ll be getting very far with it for awhile. Once I’m back at school, I imagine the possibilities will be far greater. In the mean time, I am completely fascinated by reading everything that has happened or is happening, because of this game. It really feels like the dawning of a new age in video games, and I can not wait to see where the industry moves after this.

I don’t have the game since I don’t have an iPhone, but man if I did I might seriously try this game out I mean it is so ingenious and it’s insane how popular this game is now
I especially love hearing stories of people getting so into it they sometimes bump into stuff, I just find that kinda funny
I am very excited how many doors this game might open for technology and gaming ^.^

I can’t believe the game isn’t even 10 days old. Everyone’s been talking about it so I assumed it was at least a few weeks old. It hasn’t even officially come out in the UK yet news has spread so quickly.
