In reply to Ernesto Chacon. I'd love to do more anime reviews. Do you have any requests? I definitely will review The Red Turtle and Miss Hokusai. This year I have reviewed Harmony, Only Yesterday and Boy and the Beast for Rotoscopers and When Marnie was There was reviewed. A lot of it is finding out about these anime films so please let me know because I love covering them. It's good to know there is interest in classic anime films like Akira and Paprika. Did you see Harmony? What did you think?

Very cool to see an anime review on the Rotoscopers website, hope you and the rest of the Rotoscopers do reviews and articles for various anime related series and movies. Although I don’t want to raise my hopes up, since the site is mostly for animated movies and shows from Disney, Pixar, Dreamworks, Illumination etc… and Anime is niche medium that can range from a wide variety of genres with some of them being unsuitable for all ages (e.g. Akira, Paprika). This could explain why I don’t see many anime articles and reviews on the site despite the occasional Studio Ghibli, Pokemon, DBZ, Sailor Moon, and anime related topic “once in a blue moon”. Not to mention that outside of Crunchyroll and Anime News Network.com, their seems to be very minimal news articles relating to anime which is why their are bumps in the road on posting in articles in the site without plagiarizing the information. On the other hand I still want to see more Anime related content on the Rotoscopers website, since I am an Anime fan myself and love to see some new content, but we shall see. 🙂

In reply to Eep. I'm not as versed as I should be but working on it. Most have some mature content just to be warned but this film, Akira, Paprika, Summer Wars, and any Studio Ghibli film is a safe bet. I also liked Boy and the Beast from earlier this year.

In reply to Rachel Wagner. Can you guys recommend some good full-length anime movies (that are not part of the tv series, lead to them or are sequels of? kind of tired of multi-episode series so i'm gonna try some standalone movies now. any genre is fine
