I thought Secret Life of Pets was really good too.

Glowing recommendation. Ill for sure check it out, but it is really nice to hear.

Is that considered a strike? It was a mistake. I wrote that right before I went to bed and by the way, I did laps in the pool, saw a movie, hung out with friends, go to camp, walk my dog, and play with my kitten who acts like a freak.

I never thought much of the Despicable Me franchise I found them forgettable but Life of Pet’s was their best effort yet in my opinion. It won’t win any prizes for original story but it felt very well put together. There was a few emotional moments I thought could have been made stronger but I guess they were cautious because their main demographic being children. It was genuinely funny, clever and with charming character animation/design.
