this will be great! The live actions batmen tend to be either be very serious or very campy so this is a great way to achieve the tone and poke fun at its rich history.

Im so looking forward to the Batman Movie. I can’t wait to spot all the tiny references to the comic book. Given that they are Lego it will be cool to see them tackle some of the more mature aspects of Batman in a family friendly way. Chris and Phil havent let me down yet.

So this will be like the Lego Movie where it honored all the stuff about Legos and here it’s honoring Batman, while still in Lego format. I think this will turn out great and be a good stand alone film since Batman is already a unique enough character to back up a 90 minute flick.

I’m sure this movie will do alright, still a little hard to judge at this point. I just hope nothing major in the plot will revolve around these batman easter eggs, being someone with absolute no knowledge of this whatsoever. Pretty sure those easter eggs will fly over my head faster than any batmobile or jet or etc.

In reply to Phin68. The movie isn't based on a specific Batman story arc (from what I've seen). It's an original story that honors all eras of Batman media.
