I’m very curious if they’ve done anything with the quality of the film itself, as well as whether the features will really add to the stuff that’s allready there. The only ones I found interesting in the list here are the Always Belle and recording sessions ones. (I’m also waiting for 4 more years to pass to get the Tangled 10th anniversary edition, because I want some serious bonus features to make up for the really scarce ones in the original release 🙂

Honestly I think it’s time for Disney to start doing these kind of editions for all their main animated features to really make each one special, I hope I’m not alone in that.

The new featureless will likely only be a few minutes. Assuming this “Signature Edition” follows the same trend as Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, this release will completely drop the entire separate bonus feature disc. Also, it is highly likely that no release this time around will include the 3D version, which I think is beautiful. This release will be extremely convenient for those who missed the Diamond release however, as on Amazon the 3 disc 2D set is now $69.68 and the 5 disc 3D set is now $147.97. For those who are more concerned with in-depth and comprehensive bonuses, hunting down a Diamond release is worth it.

For those that are planning on getting the Signature release, Target will have an edition with exclusive digibook packaging. The digibook will consist of all the same disc content as the standard release, packaged in a 32 page storybook.
