I love how epic they’re making this movie sound! Usually Disney’s teasers are very silly and comedy oriented, but this one balanced humour with some truly epic scenes… I get the sense of adventure and though I thought it wasn’t possible, I’m now even more excited for this movie!

It’s Disney. When have the sidekicks ever NOT overshadowed the lead? It’s been that way since the Seven Dwarves.

Look at Aladdin. Would it have been a better movie if Robin Williams had voiced Aladdin and the genie had been the dull straight man?

(And Lilo will always be Disney’s first Polynesian princess in my heart!)

My only worry is the way they are pushing the Rock’s Maui in the way they are promoting it and now the trailer, makes me think that we could potentially have a mice in the animated Cinderella scenario, where the supporting cast overshadows and is more dynamic than the lead. That wouldn’t be great in another but it’s somehow amplified because this is Disney’s first Polynesian princess.

Looks beautiful! As usual they seem to be relying a bit much on the humor with Maui for the early trailer, but I also get the feeling this film has plenty of hidden beautiful secrets and remains with amazing potential! I can’t wait!
