In reply to Dan Siciliano. Thank you for making those. I am disappointed that during the whole film Donald never got to kiss Carmen Molina on the lips or at all for that matter. She is arguably the prettiest. At least he got to kiss Aurora Miranda and Carmen Molina on the lips.

I love seeing beautiful woman but my big annoyance is how the others are depriving Donald of them and how at the beach seen he fails to kiss at least one. Heck he did not even kiss Carmen Molina at all who was arguably the prettiest. At least he got to kiss Aurora Miranda and Dora Luz

This was my 2nd favorite package film next to “Fun and Fancy Free”, I loved how this was considered to be a positive message to Latin America. While I did enjoy the film for the songs, the Aracuan Bird and the Dynamics between Donald Duck, Jose Carioca, and Panchito Pistoles I barely remembered the Cold Blooded Penguin and the Flying Guachito shorts shown in the beginning.

The train to Baia (Little Train) sequence. Dynamite color styling. The map backgrounds. Also the too brief appearance of the manic Araquan bird which I love. (I’m so glad he comes back in Melody Time).

Found this humorous review for the film on ebay when I was tracking it down for ny colletion. I’ve given up hope that Disney will release all their WDAS films on Blu Ray, well at least in Australia. When they won’t even give Many Adentures of Winnie the Pooh or the Black Cauldron the blu ray treatment what hope does a wartime era film have?

Three Cabelleros is one of my favorite Disney canons. I really wish they release this and Saludos Amigos on Bluray soon. The artwork that was leaked online was cool. I wonder why Disney hasn’t released it yet? We should all contact them and tell them how much we want it on blu ray.

I vaguely remembered the penguin and flying donkey segments from years ago when I saw it but what I was looking forward to this time around was seeing the Aracuan Bird! He’s my favorite!

In reply to bjwanlund. I didn't know that about the laserdisc being different. Cool. You can track down laserdisc players easier than you'd think because of all the Star Wars nerds. It's the only way to get theatrical editions in HD.
