This makes me extremely sad, for a year now, my daughter and I have shared countless adventures together and have built numerous toybox games. This is horrible to me. My daughter will be devastated.

My kids love Disney Infinity. That being said, as a parent, I’m glad they’re not releasing new characters or updates. That means once my kids eventually collect the ones they want, they won’t have any new ones to get.

While this may sound too far fetched, I can see Disney opting to make a deal with Nintendo. There’s been rumors going around since E3 last year of both companies actually low key talking about a deal and the rumors emerged again in February.

In reply to AnimatedMadness. Unfortunately I am inclined to agree with that overall. But there has been some amazing licensed games out in the past, while Disney has been in charge of the Licensing. So I do hope beyond hopes. The Lego games are a pretty good example.

This doesn’t make sense. Considering the BILLIONS they’ve profited this year alone with Star Wars, Zootopia, and Civil War, and the additional movies coming out this year, how can they not afford to hang on to gaming?

My best guess is they weren’t profiting billions from Infinity like they are making with movies, TV shows, merchandise, and everything else they produce.

Here’s hoping those that lost their jobs are able to find work fast!
