A CG Wander Over Yonder Movie done in the simple style of this would be pretty great. Doubt it'll ever happen though : ( .

I KNEW the character designs were going to depend on the creativity of the backgrounds! And I think they backgrounds look great so far!! This has definitely restored my interest in the film. The jokes & dialogue in the clip seemed kinda typical and forgettable, so I'm still not sure about that aspect, but I enjoyed watching the animation.

The cloud was very annoying...
But the rest of it looked cute. Hopefully Dreamworks will be able to pull this one off.

I had very little hope for this movie, but I really liked this clip. I'm surprised! It's silly like Adventure Time and the designs and textures look really good.

It's a funny quinkidink, because in the DreamWorks TV show, Father of the Pride, there was a whole episode on Larry with Donkey from Shrek. At the end of the episode, Larry lies and says, "I know Justin Timberlake", to which the kid animals reply, "YOU KNOW JUSTIN TMBERLAKE!?".

Oh, and this looks like this was made by the people that made A Car's Life. It's not as bad as I just said, but it's on Thunder and the House of Magic level.

Kendrick fits her character but, Justin, ehhh, you can really hear he's not a voice actor. Very unremarkable performance, everything about the delivery reminded me of other actors, he didn't' seem to have his own style. Love the colors and unique textures. I also enjoyed the fairy tale feel of choosing such and such way and you're dead meat.

As for the humor: really, the "Oh, the big voice was something harmless, are you surprised?" cliche again? Soon followed by the echo cliche. It was hilarious the first couple of times, the million animated movies since have overdone it though. Some good jokes though. The escalating hand greetings got me to smile. If the cloud sticks around, I hope his jokes get more consistently witty.

This movie is a risk, yet it also feels generic and overdone due to the familiar jokes and setups. Still hoping, this teaser was definitely okay. Very appealing animation, good performance Kendrick, a few good jokes. Still, if I wasn't' already a Dreamworks fan, I'd think this looked stupid.
