Aw, so many good quotes and wonderful details you guys pointed out in this podcast. And I'm so glad to hear Morgan explain the differences between the animated version and the new CGI version: the storytelling, characters, and plots were different. And yet each film works within itself.

"Welcome to the jungle: we're full of douchebags!" Okay, Bagheera is *not* a douchebag, but the monkeys in the new film were downright vicious! Thumbs up for Mason saying that Shere Khan doesn't need a tragic backstory. He's a villain of his own creation. While the other animals are content to let mankind live away from them, Shere Khan goes out of the way to hunt humans and therefore brings havoc upon himself. The CGI ending in a fiery forest is amazing. I think Neel Sethi did an adequate job as Mowgli. Some of his lines felt stifled but considering he's a kid having to act alone and among green screens (while running around in red underwear) it's a tremendous feat.

Laura's voicemail had me in stitches. When she said something along the lines of "Just a quick review of the 1994 Jungle book, that Mowgli was really good looking" end review, and Chelsea agrees. You two are adorable.
