You know I am going to remain optimistic on this until the first trailer comes out. I almost feel like one shouldn’t touch things with such history, the dated animation and audio seem part of the product now. But I will say I enjoyed the ‘Peanuts Movie’ and I now hold a more fluid opinion. Good luck Illumination.

I love the Grinch!!!! one of my favorite characters of all time! I have an affinity for grumps… Hopefully Illumination makes something where the Grinch character is a little more menacing than Jim Carey’s version. That was my only real complaint with the live action. He didn’t seem all that “grinch-y” to begin with.

I wish Hollywood would leave Seuss alone. His legacy has suffered enough without Illumination taking a jab at it.
