I want to know why in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs they used an owl for the "Haunted Forest" scene rather than as one of Snow White's animal friends. I ask because in later Disney movies like Bambi, Sleeping Beauty, and The Fox and the Hound, an owl served as a friend to the main character.
