Maybe their films are good. I’m commenting on this trailer. And this trailer had at least five f bombs, I don’t remember exactly. Potato:”Oh, F! She’s cutting off my skin! Oh, F.” Hotdog: “What the F? What the F!?” Yeah keep saying that, maybe there’s a joke there somewhere.

If you like this trailer, sweet, it’s all good. 🙂 But it’s not for me.

I finally caved in and watched the trailer. I knew I was going to be shocked and offended and I was right. This definitely isn’t my type of movie. One thing did have me thinking though, what’s with the name? “Sausage Party?” It’s not just about sausages, and there was no party that I saw. Looks to me like it was just a reason to come up with a name that had a double meaning, one of which is related to male anatomy. This just comes across as immature. It would be like Pixar naming “Toy Story” something like “A Boy’s Woody” or “My Plaything Woody” and then have Buzz and Woody running around Sid’s room dropping F-bombs left and right. To me, anything Pixar does, especially ‘Toy Story,’ comes across more mature and clever than anything seen in this trailer. To me it’s not cursing that makes a movie mature or clever, it’s the story and how the characters are utilized. This movie was thrown together by a bunch of people with a third grade mentality. This, however, is just my opinion. Feel free to disagree with me.

In reply to Jeremiah Bok. It's funny how you call this junk and a mess and judge it a trailer yet you haven't even seen the entire film and when it was screened it got a lot of praise by people and they could not stop talking about it.

Have you ever seen a Goldberg and Rogen film before? This is their style as film makers and whether you like it or not, they are A list film makers that consistently make good returns on all their films.
Personally, I like their films. It’s not all “f bombs” and “tasteless humor”. There’s great story and character development in their latest few. They are definitely getting better as film makers as they progress.

Looks great. I hope this does real well. These guys last few films were really great. Whether or not you like this type of humor(as is obvious by the comments here), This is the End and The Interview had some fantastic character moments. Their scripts are getting better and I hope this one shows a great progression.
