Yes she would still have powers but I’m talking about how her hair length would be the same.
Remember when Mother Gothel cut some of her hair when she was still a baby in her cradle? That hair was still the same length when Rapunzel showed it to Eugene after she healed his hand.
For what ever reason her hair once cut doesn’t seem to grow anymore.

That’s because, when the hair was cut off Rapunzel, it was cut of the Golden Flower source. Rapunzel was biologically born with the powers of the Golden Flower, thus, even if her hair was cut, she still has her powers!

But the hair that was cut when she was a baby didn’t grow back so it must be something else, a magical so and so or some kind of curse which may lead to a villain later on.
Or maybe theres a lot more of those drop of sunlight flowers.

That’s a good point. I think Disney Animation Studio was used to their films not being big hits anymore. Considering that the big financial success of this revival era started with Rapunzel, I’m sure they didn’t worry about spinoffs, let alone sequels, by the time they were building the story. I’m sure now they’re being more careful about leaving open doors in their movie plots.

That’s a brilliant point! There could be another perfectly reasonable and touching explanation for why her hair is short again at her wedding. I’m curious to see if they’ll explore this or just ignore it all together…

That’s a strong possibility. I think it will either be a major plot point in the series (and could totally work, we’d all be curious to see how she loses her hair once again), or it’ll just be ignored altogether… I’m curious to see how it’ll turn out.

That sounds like an interesting hypothesis

The show sounds interesting enough, and it’s clear her hair is blonde for promotional appearances. The Aladdin series really is the stepping stone for other franchises like this and Big Hero 6.
