I really like the Tangled one, but also the one for The Croods, and actually the one for Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs is fun too. Ohh and Princess & The Frog is nice..there's so many!! I REALLY want the Song of the Sea art book, but it's a pricey one! Someday I'll get it!

Ooh great choice and reasoning MJ! The Art of Paranorman is the only one I own currently, but I think it's amazing and kind of touching! And I've just added the one for Song of the Sea to my wish list thanks to Rachel, didn't even know that beautiful film had an art book!

My favourites in my collection are the "Story", "Animation", "Design" & "Layout & Background" books in the Disney Archive Series".
Another favourite art book (unfortunately not animation) is "The Art of Star Wars: The Force Awakens", it's not like other art books as it shows concept art that shows a different story as the production moves along!
Great article! Keep up the good work!

... I'd have to say the How To Train Your Dragon-artbooks. Both of them. This movie universe is just so big and colorful and detailed and these books do a great job displaying all the different aspects, like characters, worlds, props, the dragons of course, even the music and film production in general.
They're super inspirational and I cannot get tired of them <3
