This short was the best thing about The Good Dinosaur. So lovely and nice. It was really nice to see that the Pixar guys are brave enough to present a story so religious-related.

I really hope this Short wins the Academy Award this year. I really believe it deserves it. It was so much better than Lava (I didn’t like Lava that much in fact).

I thought this short was wonderful! It really makes me want to see more modern animations inspired from this culture, it’s a really fresh change. I want them to make a feature length! Probably my only nitpick is I don’t really like gigantic eyeballs on CG characters. I think it works better in 2D… but ignoring that this was a great film!!

This is one of my favorite Pixar shorts. While I did like Lava, I didn’t like it anywhere near as much as some of Pixar’s other works. This short blew Lava out of the water. (No, that was not a volcano joke. :p) There’s a reason that Sanjay is up for an Oscar and Lava isn’t.

This short was so different than anything else I’ve seen in a long time. I love learning about other cultures, especially when it’s done in such a creative, captivating way. The fact that it’s based (very loosely) on the writer’s own childhood just makes it all the better for me.

Out of all the Oscar nominated shorts, this one is one of my favorites. I have a feeling it will win overall, just because it’s Pixar, but I really think it deserves it just as much as a couple of the others do. It’s very good.

I really liked this short. It’s a neat story about the merging of the culture of a father and son. I also liked the colors and animation.
