Great podcast! You guys brought up pretty much all the issues that I had with the film. I especially wish Mei Mei was more involved as a character!

This podcast made me laugh out loud several times. I agree that it is a good film but I think KFP2 was the best of the trilogy and Lord Shen was the best antagonist. Nevertheless, this one looked stunning and all I could remember leaving the theatre were the shimmering gold tones in the Spirit World.

I think Morgan mentioned in a podcast a long time ago that because they are now able to do new releases on top of Patreon-suggested picks, their podcasts are now scheduled out as far as 2017. You are not alone in wanting that HTTYD2 episode, but it may take a while for them to make time.

I looked at the link you posted saw that to be able to suggest an animated movie I have to have to donate at least $10 a month and have been a patron for three months. I have to think about it whether I can do that or not. But I can't believe that of those who qualify none have suggested HTTYD2 at this point. I really hope someone does suggest it since it does really need to be done. You do new releases for the podcast and take suggestions from the patrons for the other animated movies you do, but do not choose an animated film on your own from the past that is not a new release. Seriously, if you did that then you would be able to do ones you might have missed, due to not doing new releases in the podcast yet, do to not reaching your goal. Anyway, that is how I feel about what you say how you determine which animated films get a podcast.

Hey! So, I totally agree that we need to do an episode for HTTYD2. It isn’t for lack of love. The reason we didn’t do a podcast for HTTYD2 was because we only just barely started reviewing new releases due to us reaching our goal on Patreon. I just want to say that you have done a animated addicts podcast now for all three films in the Kung Fu Panda franchise, but have only done an animated addicts podcast for How to Train Your Dragon, but not How to Train Your Dragon 2. I really want to see an animated addicts podcast for How to Train Your Dragon 2. Having seen Kung Fu Panda 3 get one done a couple of weeks after it was released in theaters, but not one for HTTYD2 back in 2014 does not seem fair. I looked back through previous podcasts and saw that you have done animated addicts podcasts for films that have been out more than a year, well after they were released in theaters. So, I want to request their be an animated addicts podcast for How to Train Your Dragon 2, because it so much deserves to have one.
