I’m not sure. It was released in some markets in February in theaters. I will try and find out and let you know.

Interesting. There’s a little of that in the English but I didn’t think it was too bad. Got used to voices fairly quickly. Cool you got to see it!

I saw it in Quebec French and all the characters were voiced by adults. They couldn’t pass for children at all, they were doing old-school cartoon voices. I think the English version might be better because they animated in English.

Did you see it in French or English?

I really felt that too while watching the film. And you know what’s interesting is in my interview with the director and producer they said they wanted to capture that feel of playtime and going out in the snow, coming home for a quick soup and going back out to play. That is kind of a dying thing and I hope kids see this and get inspired to play! They also said that Laika was a big inspiration for them, as a smaller animation company and the type of films they do. If you get a chance to see it I’d love to hear your thoughts.
