I’m Brazilian too! I’m also so happy for “The Boy and The World”! Even though Inside Out is probably my favourite Pixar movie too, The Boy and The World got a special spot in my heart. However, I’m 100% sure Inside Out is gonna win, specially because most members of the jury simply do not care about animated features. I mean, most of them don’t even see all the movies, so they just choose a major studio movie as the winner. Cartoon Brew wrote about the issue in 2014 (when Frozen won – http://www.cartoonbrew.com/award-season-focus/definitive-proof-that-academy-voters-are-ignorant-about-animation-96680.html) and in 2015 as well (Big Hero 6’s time http://www.cartoonbrew.com/award-season-focus/proof-that-oscar-voters-are-clueless-about-animation-109456.html). There are interviews with the jury and what they say is just shocking. At least The Boy and The World got the main prize in Annecy and a BUNCH of other places (over 40 prizes all around the world!)

Yeah I’m a little shocked even Good Dinosaur wasn’t nominated, granted its not the best but it had great atmosphere from what I hear
This year again is just looking kinda like a joke to me since a lot of things were missed out in some categories, the awards people really need to hire new people who know what they’re doing

Yeah! When Marnie Was There! Best animated movie of 2015! (technically 2014). Should win an Oscar, but overrated Inside Out will win : (

I haven’t seen Anomalisa or Boy And the World yet, I hope they can get some digital distribution before the awards.

I didn’t gel with Inside Out, but I can admit that it’s probably going to win and I’m okay with that. I really want Shaun The Sheep to win, it’s been really ignored all things considered.
